                   AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING AN UNNAMED
                   STREET LOCATED NORTH OF SHALLOWFORD ROAD AND
                   EAST OF PRESTON CIRCLE, MORE PARTICULARLY
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN.

       	    SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 
OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby closed and
       abandoned an unnamed street located north of Shallowford Road and 
east
       of Preston Circle, more particularly described herein, and as 
shown on
       plat attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference:
               
                An unopened 40 foot unnamed street which lies
                within the property described by deed book 1177,
                page 1556, ROHC and referenced by the attached map. 
                Tax Map 146G-B-6.
               
               
       	    SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance shall 
take
       effect two weeks from and after its passage as provided by law.
